Jason Wu is the assistant director overseeing the Global Markets and Analysis division at the IMF. Prior to joining the IMF, he held senior positions in the Federal Reserve Board’s Monetary Affairs and International Finance divisions. From 2018 to 2021, Jason was the head of economic research at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Jason holds a PhD in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has published his work in various academic journals.
